Cloud Nine Training School For Dogs, occupying an office space in New Hope at Encore Park, announces new summer seminars for dogs.

Cloud Nine specializes in training dogs using gentle methods and effective, innovative techniques that result in satisfied, informed owners with happy, well-behaved dogs. Cloud Nine offers group classes, private lessons, workshops, and social activities for you and your dog during the day, in the evenings, and on weekends.

“We’re not a franchise; we are owner-operated and offer the most complete and personalized dog training experience in the Twin Cities,” says, Dawn Falk of Cloud Nine.

Cloud Nine specializes in obedience training, teaching owners how to properly train their dogs to be well-mannered pets, therapy dogs, agility dogs, nose-work dogs, and more.

Cloud Nine has two temperature-controlled training facilities, with 3,000 square feet in Hopkins and more than 7,000 square feet in New Hope. They offer a full schedule of classes at both locations as well as a variety of activities and seminars for students and their dogs to enjoy, including doggy gym, puppy play groups, small dog play groups, practice time for obedience, agility, and more.

“We help people to have well-behaved dogs to enjoy as part of their family. We have more than 30 years of experience raising and training dogs of all ages and breeds. We make training fun and painless,” says, Falk.

On Friday, June 19th, and Friday, June 24th, Cloud Nine is hosting a “serial” agility trial, a new style of trial that is being offered through TDAA (The Teacup Dogs Agility Association.) Exhibitors can enter one night or several nights to compete and qualify for Qs toward TDAA titles or just to learn the ropes and have fun with your pup.

The Teacup Dogs Agility Association provides a competitive venue for dogs of small stature without regard to breed or pedigree.

The next seminars this summer are with Minnesota native, Loretta Mueller. Loretta Mueller has been involved in agility dog training since 2003 with her first rescue dog Ace. Since then she has been involved in a variety of dog training activities including USBCHA herding, competitive obedience, rally obedience, service dog training, and agility. In 2014 Loretta was chosen to be the Assistant Coach for the IFCS World Team, which competed in the Netherlands and won multiple medals.

As one of the most versatile agility workshop presenters, Loretta will demonstrate how to build drive and focus in your dog, how to create a solid agility foundation, how to work with fast dogs when you’re not so fast, and how to “send and go.” These seminars will be held on July 31st, August 1st, and August 2nd. Registration is available now.
