Tranquility massage specializes in healing the mind, body and spirit through massage, energy healing, essential oils, and herbal supplements. They have recently expanded to a larger space to better suit the needs of their growing business.
Owner, Barb Elsenpeter, has over one thousand hours of training with the St. Croix Center for the Healing Arts, and the Northwestern Chiropractic College. Her areas of expertise include: oncology massage, geriatric, integrative massage, Swedish massage, deep tissue, reflexology, prenatal, chair massage, lymphatic drainage, aromatherapy, and hydrotherapy. Elsenpeter is a member of the Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals, (ABMP.)
“I take the time to make sure all of my client’s needs are met. I want to make sure that each person has their own custom experience and treatment plan. I strive for them to leave my office knowing that they are number one,” says Elsenpeter.
Massage can help specifically address a number of health issues such as easing medication dependence, lessen depression and anxiety, and improve range of motion. Massage can also assist with shorter, easier labor for expectant mothers and shorten maternity hospital stays and enhance immunity by stimulating lymph flow—the body’s natural defense system.
“I offer a place for clients to come and leave their worries behind. It’s my patient’s time to relax and rejuvenate,” says Elsenpeter.
Tranquility Massage Center also offers ZYTO Compass sessions. ZYTO Compass is a biofeedback machine that helps to determine what the body is lacking nutritionally. ZYTO technology involves information theory, biology, physics, and biofeedback.
“My goal is to help each client relax and heal their body, mind & spirit. Although this is not always an easy process, together, as a team, we can make an extraordinary difference in how you feel, inside and out,” says Elsenpeter.
